Cupcake Sundae in Paris

For a special surprise, I made a few of B’s favorite things in a new Paris mug (they also have London, San Francisco, and New York) with illustrations of many of the wonderful things to do and sights to see in Paris. Why Paris? Because we are currently planning an awesome trip as we are headed there in June, and now taking suggestions!! I’m so excited. Have any of you been to Paris?

I’d like some suggestions of what your Paris looks like – places to eat, walks to take, museums (and exhibit within) to see, places to shop, special nooks and wanderings, any of your favorites – I’d love to hear in the comment section below.

While you think back to Paris, enjoy a little photo inspiration for a mélange of some favorite desserts – sundaes and confetti cake – in a fun and comforting presentation.

I whipped up a yummy light, strawberry, cream cheese frosting for the cupcakes. What’s in it?

Using organic heavy whipping cream, 2 tablespoons strawberry preserves, 1/3 cup of whipped cream cheese, sugar.  I layered two cupcakes to bring the cake up to the rim of the mug, then added ample strawberry whipped frosting, moreno cherries, and melted chocolate sauce. IMG_0001_2Voilà, a cupcake sundae in Paris!
