Aquitaine {eating out Boston}

Brunch. Weekend is coming. Where to Brunch?

Aquitaine in Boston’s historic and trendy South End neighborhood is a fast favorite. The menu changes seasonally, but the cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed citrus, and bottomless coffee keep flowing.

For years, I’ve loved these unique bites of sweet, slightly toasted, and cinnamon pastries. They’re more cinnamon than dough, which tells you where my priorities lie.

Aquitaine has $9 brunch that keeps us coming back, and they change up the menu from time to time to accommodate seasonal foods.

My love for fresh squeezed grapefruit juice love came alive at Aquitaine.

As for other items on the menu, the Cobb salad is perhaps the best I’ve tried anywhere.

For the brunch menu, one offering that we had which was solid and filling – Omelette Basquaise – Gruyere thinly sliced ham toast and potatoes,  When I’m in the mood for sweets, I’ll have to try the crepes next time!

Oh, and during the summer, the creme fraîche lemon essence waffles with fresh berries is superb.

Here’s the menu.

Try it out, see you at Brunch! 🙂
