1 Samuel 3:9 … Speak, O Jehovah; for Your servant is listening.
I just started to sing this very simple and ordinary song as a prayer last Monday. There have been many different variations since then.
I was just touched this past week that God wants to speak within man. All we need to do is to present ourselves and to make ourselves available. To be inwardly available is to make room for God in our hearts, to ask Him to come in and make His home in our hearts. We need to be emptied of so many things that fill us but do not satisfy. The Word of God is healing, nourishing, cherishing, caring, forbearing, sustaining, satisfying, liberating, and fights for us: it has the power to save. This emptying is not in vain, for it gives room for the word of Christ to dwell in us richly.
Colossians 3:16 – let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.
Enjoy 🙂
You are a speaking God.
You are a speaking God.
You want to speak in me.
Speak, Lord in me.
Speak, Lord in me.
Speak, Lord in me!
I’m here, Your servant,
Listening,
Speak in me
Speak, Lord
I’m listening.
Speak in me, speak in me.
Speak, Lord I’m listening,
Listening to Your speaking.
Speak, Lord I’m listening,
Listening to You,
To You, to You!
