Just looking at these pictures makes me hungry for this quick meal again.

What you need:

-pane rustico, sliced

-slices of sharp white cheddar

-applewood smoked bacon (without nitrates, nitrites, or preservatives!)

-butter

-TJ’s creamy roasted red pepper and tomato soup, low sodium variety with some italian herbs and freshly ground peppercorns as a topping

This meal works well as a lunch at home, but also for dinner – second helpings are welcomed!
