I grew up close to Chicago and since I’ve become a Beantown gal, I haven’t really explored all the new neighborhoods as an adult. When friends of ours moved recently to the city, we decided we would visit ASAP. Since they’re also foodies, we had a grand time trying new eats, including this delightful bakery, Floriole, in the Lincoln Park neighborhood at 1220 W. Webster Ave, Chicago. Everything was delicious. If I lived in the neighborhood, I’d come once a week for a coffee, at least, and have to resist getting everything on the menu. The space is bright and tall windows open out to a view of some cute residences across the way. Those of you who know me personally know that big windows and a nice view are essential to getting me to come back to a place.
I definitely recommend coming for breakfast, but their lunch offerings look awesome too. I’ll be sure to come back!
