As I was commuting home this afternoon, it seemed as though rows of trees such as these on the Commonwealth Mall were leaning down with their branches extended to high-five me and cheer me on to the finish. Funny sensation to cross my mind, right?
Today is the kind of day wherein cheering on is needed. Regardless, the trees are lovely and yellow and green, welcoming prime leafy days to Fall and ushering drivers through avenues of warmer autumn moments.
