The Multistick by Bite Beauty {beauty review}

I don’t very often post about beauty products, but I found this one to be fun and wanted to share it in case you haven’t seen it before. If makeup isn’t your thing, have no worries! Come back soon for your usual favorites. 🙂

I’ve been trying out these new little bullets of color over the past several weeks and have been having a fun time with them! I had never tried anything by Bite Beauty before, but upon looking at the ingredient list and checking it against EWG (Environmental Working Group) this company is on the cleaner side of the makeup spectrum. They’re made with organic, food grade ingredients and come in 18 shades! They’re at Sephora, so if you love their beauty rewards, you can check it out easily there.

Since I don’t wear foundation, I stick to concealer and then a little color or highlighting.

 I already use the W3LL People and RMS products which are all organic and do double (or triple) duty, which makes carrying them on the go easy and convenient. I’m all about no fuss – two swipes, blend, and off I go!

First up, my favorite of the box – the pink “macaroon.”

It is my go to now, but I had been more of a deep red or berry girl. Being willing to try new things has served me well thus far in life (with some misses, of course!). This pink brightens up my lips which are darker in  pigmentation. Usually light colors don’t work, but because these contain 35% powder and wear matte, they allow for lightweight coverage – you don’t even know that my lips are a lot darker naturally! The color works just fine on cheeks and I really do just use one swipe on either cheek.

This is one of my favorite green teas from parisian company, Marriage Frères, enjoyed in the Alicia pattern mug by 222 Fifth. It is fun, feminine, and flirty with the ruffled edges.

Bite Beauty was also really thoughtful about the packaging. It snaps shut with a satisfying magnetic click, meaning the cap isn’t going to be rolling around at the bottom of my purse anytime soon. It is compact, and also has a nice feel. If you hold it at a shop, you’ll understand. They’re about 3 inches tall and between a nickel and a quarter in size.

Second is the nude color, “Blondie”.

This one I was so apprehensive about because I loved seeing warm colored light lips on other people, but again, it NEVER works for my pigmented lips. Not a nice picture when I tried before. But I tried Blondie and the creamy application went right on. It completely surprised me, and opened up a new style I couldn’t get to work before. It is a lovely neutral. On my cheeks, it provided a muted definition of my cheekbones which was so subtle and pretty.

Third, the “Cocoa” color is a deep brown.

Also a color I hadn’t before tried, and it surprisingly worked nicely! I normally wear a dark color like this if it is a deep reddish purple, so this strictly stayed in a warm brown which adds depth to the color that I could layer easily. I prefer it for my lips over my cheeks, but adding just a dab of the cocoa with the nude acts like a bit of a bronzer and highlighter to which one could add a luminizer.

I like that these colors add quite a bit of variety and possibility to my simple makeup routine. I can wear the colors by themselves for a nice amount of color, or add a moisturizing balm on top for a beautiful subtle shine.

Overall, portable, great colors, and buildable makes this a product I am happy to have discovered!

I haven’t yet tried it on my eyes as a shadow because I very rarely wear eyeshadow these days, but when I do, I’ll add on to this post. You can also comment and let me know if that is content you would like to see.

Alright, a full day of work ahead so onward I go. Have a great Thursday everyone!
