Paris, le premier jour

admittedly, I am quite behind on sharing the adventures of BlueBoots across Europe. Part of the issue is limited wifi and not wanting to miss any new adventures while recording the former! I’m sure you understand :-).

I’m currently in London, returning to Paris tonight, but I thought I would make an effort to share the first day in Paris over a cup of tea.

If you’re in anxious wait for more up to date occurrences, do look me up on Instagram @nini4nana. I post much more easily and frequently there!

Lunch. Pronto. At TriBeCa. Wasn’t that great, but Rue Cler was pleasant – pedestrian market street right by us that we went to a number of times.

Perfect. Lemon meringue tart and a chocolate eclair with gold leaf by the Eiffel Tower. First things first. I couldn’t finish – rich for me!

Now that we have seen it, why not climb it too?? 324 meters, folks. My calves won’t ever be the same.

Tremendous views. Was very windy though!!

We climbed up to and past the Roland Garros giant tennis ball. Achievement.

On the second viewing deck they had big swings.

This may have been my favorite view.

I didn’t get dizzy till here. That’s the top of the tower, folks.

Scavenger hunt success: I found the Arc de Triomphe!!!

A romantic view, huh, for an anniversary trip 🙂

At Creperie Contemporaine for dinner. That banana one (Adelaide?) was so perfect it made happy endorphins come along in spades. It’s supposed to be one of the best creperies in Paris.

My first sighting of the Tour Eiffel at night. At midnight it twinkles!! So charming.

And that’s a wrap for day 1!
