my friend-i.- and I whipped this together for another friend of ours last month. I had a little fun with it at the end. ๐ Our reward for a fun photo or two: sampling the mini portion I plated.
Main:
- Homemade sardius curry (aka, red curry)with curry shrimp, chicken, onion, tomatoes, veggies, ginger, one jalapeno pepper [can remove seeds and ribs to reduce heat if desired], plain yogurt served with:
Sides and garnish:
- whole wheat naan
- jasmine rice
- fresh lime
- sprig of basil, if desired
- pre-made TJ’s salad (craisin, blue cheese, walnut, raspberry vinaigrette)
Dessert:
- oranges
- whole foods pound cake
- earl grey tea (Mariage Freres)
Good friends.
Be sure to serve with a slice of lime. Lime makes it particularly delicious.
Sardius…now, what is that?
SARDIUS is a precious stone of a deep orange-red hue. Like this curry ๐
A brief look atย Sardius as it is referenced in the Old Testament and how it pertains to the experience of a Christian:
This is pretty neat.
From Sardius to Jasper: God’s redeemed people have their beginning in God’s redemption(signified by Sardius) and their consummation in God’s glory of life (signified by jasper). Redeemed for glory, expression of God’s uncreated, eternal life (life that has the quality of eternity)!
