Tiny Toasts: Pear and Ricotta with Honey or Balsamic Glazes

Any weekend entertaining coming up for you all? Here’s a super simple suggestion. You can dress them up in a myriad of ways, plate it in a fun way, serve at wedding or bridal showers, or even serve it to little ones – two tiny, pear-loving taste testers who visited last night munched away at these as well.

We made BBQ chicken with peppers and onions in a crock pot, over garlic brown rice for guests last night and to add some of my usual flair to the otherwise simple meal, I prepared these little beauties as an opener in less than 20 minutes.

I present: Tiny Toasts. This edition features D’Anjou pears, expertly sliced by B, ricotta cheese, and honey or balsamic glaze over thinly sliced baguette and thrown in a 325F toaster oven for 15 minutes. Mmmmmm!

Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!

Some people preferred the sweetness of the honey with the ricotta, but I personally like both a lot!!
